Step 3: Expert Artistry
Our skilled artisans bring your approved design to life. Most custom pieces are completed within 2–3 weeks after the 3D model has been approved, depending on the complexity and detail of your jewelry. Extremely complicated pieces will take additional time.

How much does custom jewelry cost at Edward's Jewelry?

Simpler pieces typically start around $2,000, while custom engagement rings with larger stones or intricate settings can range considerably higher. We work with clients across a wide range of budgets - as one long-time client put it, our team is "willing to work with any budget." During your free consultation, Jean Paul or Jacklin will walk you through realistic options before any commitment is made. There are no surprises after the fact.

How long does the custom jewelry design process take?
Most custom pieces are completed within 2–3 weeks after the 3D design is approved. The process begins with a consultation, followed by a detailed 3D digital model within 3–5 business days - which you review, request changes to, and approve before any crafting begins. For proposals or events with a fixed date, we recommend starting at least 6–8 weeks in advance to allow comfortable room for revisions and any gemstone sourcing.

Can you source a specific diamond or colored gemstone for my design?
Yes. We have direct access to GIA-certified loose diamonds - including fancy yellow diamonds, blue and pink sapphires, rubies, and emeralds - that aren't available through standard retail. Tell us the carat range, color, clarity, and cut you have in mind and we'll present options. Because we own our entire inventory outright - rather than consigning from manufacturers - we can offer better pricing and full quality control.

Can you redesign heirloom jewelry or work with a stone I already own?
Absolutely - heirloom redesign is something we genuinely love doing. Whether you have a family stone without a setting, an inherited ring that needs updating, or old pieces you'd like to reimagine entirely, we'll evaluate your stone, advise on the best design approach, and handle the full custom process from there. Many of our long-time clients have upgraded diamonds and redesigned pieces with us across multiple decades and multiple generations.
